Glad to hear this!PJR wrote: I think your reply may have persuaded me to have another look at the latest version of Cura (still on 15.04.6) to see how it performs.
Hi Jaime! It is awesome to see you in here!jaime.v wrote: For those of you that are interested in Cura development ...
I don't know if that's possible. It shouldn't matter al that much though, as I expect that we will release the 2.3 final very soon. We still need to wait for the translations to be done.josefprusa wrote:jaime.v wrote: Can I somehow link to the beta release directly? I would do so from the driver page and I don't want people accidentally downloading the 2.1.X which unfortunately didn't play well with MK2.
It's called "Z Seam Alignment". Not sure if it was already in 2.1, but it's definitely in 2.3 (which will be released in two days)matteo.s2 wrote:I find Cura generates very nice paths with minimal effort, what I really can't find is an option to start layer in a random position to reduce seam lines. Is that even possible? That is a huge let down for me.
thanks jaime! the option is definitely there in beta 2.3!jaime.v wrote:It's called "Z Seam Alignment". Not sure if it was already in 2.1, but it's definitely in 2.3 (which will be released in two days)
We did a boo-boo in our buildscript there. It says something like 2.1.99, but it should be 2.3.0-beta.justin.b wrote:Hum can't seem to download 2.3, I click beta link and the file I download is beta file, but when I install it's the 2.1 confused.
