Re: OLED replacement

Honnestly I do not see what gain you will have by changing the standard LCD by an OLED one.

But if you feel concerned by the look and feel of the printing state and information, maybe going to an OctoPrint box with TouchUI activated on a graphical screen will be a track to follow for you.

Re: Print failure detection

Well I'm a bit stuck, and project as work is getting crasy so I'm lacking time to go further. I modelised the physical build and found that there is an exploitable area that allow blob detection, even with a PINDA protector. Capture.PNG I made a mock of project to simulate the laser detection and it...

Re: SD Card reader not working

I just tried it, and exFAT seems a no go, even with MBR partition table.

Re: SD Card reader not working

I made some test with a 8 GB card. Using a MBR partition sheme, a FAT partition is perfectly listed, but limited to 4 GB. A FAT32 is perfectly listed and can use 8 GB. Using GPT partition shceme, you have exactly the behavior described by Joan, the insertion of the SD card is detected, but "No ...

Re: SD Card reader not working

Hi Sean, The way you describe your problem let me think that it's rather a format issue than material issue. How exactly do you format the SD-card ? From what material and what operating system ? Is it an integrated SDCard reader or an external USB device ? (I just hope it's not a Mac because I have...

Re: Slic3r 1.34.1 - Prusa Edition (Beta)

I have just one word: Whao !!!

Made some test with a complex model, with support activated, and setting the number of threads to 8 for my good old i7 2600k, and Slic3r 1.33.8 made 40 seconds where the new 1.34.1 made ... 12 seconds !!

This is a *massive* boost !! Well Done !

Re: New MK2S cable stress relief on MK2 extruder body.

Hi Marco,

I do not think you can,

the M3-40 is maintained by a bolt on the other side of the extruder body, for which there is no room in the original extruder body.

Hi Justin,

I put the code and fritzing files here:

https://github.com/ChrisP-Git/PartSense

In addition you need to create a thingspeak account and create two channel as stated in the source comment, to use those two API codes, and to pur ssid/passowrd information related to your wifi connexion.

Re: Prusa i3 mk2 evolve to Prusa i3 MK2S, like a pokemon ?

mmmh, what is strange is that on the printer I upgraded to mk2S PINDA holder, I have more threads visible.

I wonder if the position of the PINDA on my printer is regular or not.
