Re: Imperfect bottom surface

Imperfect bottom surface

The bottom surface of my prints are always less than perfect - I wonder why ? I print a lot of PLA & nGen. Same for every filament. I have two MK2s - same situation in both of them.

Any idea what's wrong ? Thanks in advance.

Re: Multimaterial limitations?

Here's another limitation for the multimaterial printer: Doesn't work out of the box with 0.25 diameter nozzle. The Multimaterial Slic3r errors out with a message "The wipe tower is currently supported only for the 0.4mm nozzle diameter". This is a big problem for me. Am trying to figure out what to...

Re: Power On always says not calibrated

My experience: If the Live Z adjust value is 0, then the "not calibrated" message is always shows. When you run the V2Calibration gcode, you tweak that value. So the message goes away.

Re: Simplifying the workflow : ColorPrint with ZHop

I have kept my script at https://github.com/shreekumar3d/gcode-proc/blob/master/filament-change-at-Z.py Setup & usage instructions are on top of the script. The script throws up a dialog box with all layer numbers. Select the layers that you need. If you need only one filament change (and find the p...

I can share this with you in a few days. What OS are you running (Windows/Linux or something else) ? My script has a dependency on python & some packages. Would you be OK installing them additionally to get this to work ?

Thanks
