I've guessing there must have been some 12V hotends that have managed to work their way out to customers and the orange dot is just to identify the hotend as 24V. The new e-axis assembly implies that MK3S hot ends are different with the caution to look for an orange dot. Clearly for $20 a new hot end is not needed. So how does that reconcile?
Nothing earth shattering, just some points of clarification that docs would be expected to clear up.
