I happened the same and I made the sameharald.h2 wrote: ↑Nov 11, 2018 10:46 amHi, I had the same issue after finishing the assembly (it was an upgrade from MK2/S to 2.5). And I do not believe that it has anything to do with the bearings.
It is as already described above an issue due to the thicker spiral cable not providing enough space for the x-axis to connect to the x-end switch without using excessive force (due to the pressure that is created when the cable hits the frame). And of course, using high power might work, but does not the resolve the problem.
For me it is simply a design fault of the x-carriage. The printed part would have required a longer "nose" or anything to make it easier to connect with the end switch. Not sure why this has not been fixed yet by PRUSA, but I glued (using CA glue) a small piece of ABS to the x-carriage and now it is working without any problem.
Has PRUSA support commented yet on this issue?
