Re: Received broken printer

Try to live chat with them on the webpage, or email. Remember they might be in a VERY different time zone than you so give them time to respond.

Re: First layer not sticking on complex design

Increasing the ambient temp might help (place a cardboard box over the printer.) The shrinkage is rapid cooling.

Clean the bed with acetone to bring it back to new if it is loosing its properties.

Your Live Z sound good.

Last ditch effort for problems, print with a brim.

Re: Ruby Nozzle

I have one and have been very pleased with it. There are multiple threads on it - use the search function. There are hints for install since it is shorter than stock (I just installed it with no issues) and other features. Mine is about 7 months old, and I print a LOT also, and have done a good deal...

Re: Filament stuck in nozzle

I use a cleaning filament when I change filament types. Got it on amazon. Seems to prevent this type of clogging.

Re: Live Adjust Z...does nothing?

Thanks for replying, Aaron. My unit is an MMU, so I have the 3.1.0 firmware installed (1_75mm_MK2-MultiMaterial-RAMBo13a-E3Dv6full.hex) Here's what happens from step 3 onward: - Calibrating Z results in Z = 0.15mm - Going to Calibration > Auto Home results in the nozzle being moved to Z = 2.15mm, a...

Re: Single Material Prints Work Fine, Multi Material Do Not

Try reducing the temperatures by 10 degrees. This was happening to me too, fixed with the lower temperatures. Out of curiosity, how low are you doing for PLA? Currently, I'm doing 210 for the first layer, 205 for the rest (what I was using for my printer before the upgrade). Should I go down to 200...

That still doesn't explain why they didn't provide defaults
They did. If you load the latest Slic3r setting in the new release, the M900 Kxxx is in the start gcode and is correct for MMU or MK2.

Re: Octoprint not liking new profiles?

If you did a firmware change at the same time, this is likely it. Octoprint really does not care what it sends to the USB - it just send the file.

I have been running the new profiles and firmware with Octoprint with no issues. (But I use the MMU profiles). But I did do the M110 fix.
