checklist after long break from printing

Re: Another bed bites the dust!

Well I printed something else and it came out fine. In fact, it was really difficult to remove from the bed so the stick is still there.

Thanks for talking me off the ledge!

Re: 100% acetone

curious, here in germany you can get 100% acetone in every diy-store... and there are plenty of them (bauhaus, toom-baumarkt, obi... just to mention the major chains). The same in the US. Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, Ace Hardware, etc. You name it, they have it. See I thought it had to meet a chemic...

Re: Curved prints + inconsistent first layer

I am surprised you pasted calibration, one half of the bed is clearly higher than the other.

Did you move your printer after doing the XYZ?

It looks like you need another calibration and live turn Z love here...

What happens when you exceed the build area?

I am trying to squeeze as much as I can into one print, and it has me wondering, what happens if you exceed the build area? Does the fw stop you, or does the carriage crash into something? Can you damage your printer?

Re: 100% acetone

How about this?

Just easier to order via amazon...

Am I looking for something that says 100% acetone or has some sort of rating?

Re: Another bed bites the dust!

No way! I was freaking out pretty bad this morning, thanks folks for chilling me out. So is this caused by warping prints lifting the PEI layer? I am having some serious warping issues all of the sudden. I blame winter. So can I print other things or do I risk the hot end hitting the bumps? My live ...

Another bed bites the dust!

Yesterday I printed something large that took a long time, 17 hours. It was the shelf unit in this thing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1666929 This morning after I carefully removed the box, I noticed 4 small but distinctive bumps in the bed, where the corners printed. You can clearly feel them i...

100% acetone

Can someone recommend a 100% acetone product for me to use on my MK2 bed? I am having a hell of a time finding one.
