Re: Slic3r Prusa Edition Infill Behavior

This is caused by the Ensure vertical shell thickness setting. Take the check mark off the box and reslice.

Re: Print Fun Error

MacieJ,

You must Sign In on the shop page and then the options for the MK3 will be available. All parts are showing as In Stock except for the Noctua Fan and the Spring Steel beds.

Re: Upgrade Help from v2 MM to v2.5

I'm in Central Texas. My brother said he might be able to print the parts for me, but he's only printed in PLA and is worried about how safe printing PETG is. The other possibliy is for me to downgrade back to version 2 and print the parts myself, but I'm not sure how realistic that option is. How ...

Try changing the contact Z from 0.15 to 0.07
I have had good results with Contact Z at 0.12. At 0.07 the supports are going to weld themselves to the print and be much, much harder to remove.

Re: Simplify3D settings for MK3

What is the purpose of the post process code in your S3D profile? curl -k -H "X-Api-Key: 79BD101D73D34E34BB41D72CCB0AB1E6" -F "select=false" -F "print=false" -F "file=@[output_filepath]" "http://10.0.0.74:8099/api/files/local" {STRIP "; postProcessing"} Thanks This is what sends it to OctoPrint whe...

Re: Leeching Power From Einsy Rambo?

I would buy a buck converter to take the 24v from the PSU and bring it down to the needed 3v. There are many examples on Amazon, here is one.. https://www.amazon.com/Step-Down-Adjustable-Converter-Atomic-Market/dp/B00WQ6V0F0/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1530025966&sr=1-5&keywords=24v+to+3v+d...

Re: Another PETG question

Rigid Ink is SUPER expensive in the US. I've got access to Hatchbox, eSUN, 3D Solutech, InLAND, PRILINE, and SUNLU. Any recommendations? For PETG, 3D Solutech and Inland are excellent, inexpensive filaments. For PLA, Inland, 3D Solutech, Hatchbox, Zyltech and Coex are my goto's. I buy quite a bit o...

Re: Layer shifting on every print

I have to admit I thought to myself "nah this cant be it" but today I found a set screw just laying under my printer. I'm big enough to admit I was horribly wrong :D Hopefully this helps someone else. Yeah, after it happened to me twice I ended up putting a small dab of blue Loctite on the grub scr...
