With PETG you should not be squishing the filament at all. Instead you should be adding a 0.15 to 0.2mm Z offset in your slicer. Prusa rarely look here,
Jakub and Bubvnik pop in periodically
and occasionally Joe himself, pops up... but generally we help each other.

have you tried Chat, on the eShop page?, takes a couple of seconds to pop up, in the bottom right hand corner of the Window!

Doh!....


in that case,
Slack belt, or
loose motor pulley screw ( screw should be screwed in against the centre of the flat on the motor shaft)
are the most likely issues...

Hi Tyler, this may be because wires or cable ties are touching the frame at one end of travel or the other, or it could be because you tightened the X axis Idler wheel bolt a little too much, and the plastic side cheeks are causing friction on the sides of the idler wheel, or there could be friction...

Issue with the filament sensor probably...

possible accumulated dust in the sensor chamber...

seems that shiny filaments, and translucent filaments give issues... I am wondering if I should try painting the inside of the sensor chamber matt black

Pause has given some of us, problems... you could try the "Change Filament" option, from the LCD. take the filament out to stop the beeping, but dont put the filament back in. the extruder heater should switch off leaving the heatbed on, to maintain adhesion. when you wish to continue, insert the fi...
