my mk3 is nearly silent...

I have never heard noises like that..., ask the helpdesk to look at the video... use chat in the eShop!

have you tried lubing the linear bearings
for the movement noises?

I believe the heatbreak is ok but the heatblock is wrong

it looks like the original is 26AWG...

I would use 24AWG, flexible silicone wire myself.

it's got 33% more conductors and is easier to handle than 26G

Hi Andrew,
did you get a fancy graphical welcome page with loads of check boxes?

I think you are supposed to choose, in there, which machines and settings that you want.

you may have missed the choice for 0.4mm nozzle

Can you give us some pictures, sometimes the X axis lead screws can be accidentally installed upside down, sometimes the Extruder can be installed too low... and I guess there are other ways to upset the applecart. so if we can see the tops of the X axis Ends, where the Z leadscrew nuts are, and the...

Hi Erik,

the heating on the print bed is supposed to be Distributed across the surface, with hotter areas towards the periphery.

as you can see in this image, the outer tracks are thicker than the inner tracks, so they should get hotter.

thermistor beads don't normally die, but wires are prone to break,

check for continuity, and if wire is faulty, parch it out, with joints under the bed and inside the einsy box
