Re: PETG Printing Suggestions

With PETG you should not be squishing the filament at all. Instead you should be adding a 0.15 to 0.2mm Z offset in your slicer. I don't believe you can be that prescriptive (if that figure refers to PLA as the "standard"). There appears to be a wider variation. Indeed Joan (she will correct me if ...

Re: Printers fails to find first calibration point.

Prusa rarely look here,
Jakub and Bubvnik pop in periodically
and occasionally Joe himself, pops up... but generally we help each other.

have you tried Chat, on the eShop page?, takes a couple of seconds to pop up, in the bottom right hand corner of the Window!

Re: Self test failure, X-Axis Length

Hi Tyler, this may be because wires or cable ties are touching the frame at one end of travel or the other, or it could be because you tightened the X axis Idler wheel bolt a little too much, and the plastic side cheeks are causing friction on the sides of the idler wheel, or there could be friction...

Re: Unwanted filament change request

Issue with the filament sensor probably...

possible accumulated dust in the sensor chamber...

seems that shiny filaments, and translucent filaments give issues... I am wondering if I should try painting the inside of the sensor chamber matt black
